Link Building Techniques, One way Link Building

We are all having blogs and spending a lot of midnight oil trying to figure out what is best Link building strategy for our blog.  If you would believe me, even great bloggers are also thinking about the best link building techniques for their blogs. We can build links but they must be effective links to be of any use. One way link building is the key ofcourse.

I am also having the thoughts every now and then. When I was sitting infront of my wife’s doctor I was very busy thinking about how to build link for this site which is relatively new and my other site that is doing very well. Doctor stopped my thinking and said to me in no un certain terms that Mr Noor, Your wife is very weak. She must take rest. I am prescribing complete bed rest for her for the next 5 months.  Oh Yes I forgot to tell you by God’s grace we are expecting our child in that time.

What I am coming at is Link building is the most complex issue. It is like a code which never cracks. It consumes  a major part of our blogging time. It is the lifeline. Do I have a remedy? No is the answer. I do what the word does. I am bringing them for you so that you can benefit from my experience.

When I create a blog post or a Web page, the first thing I do is to submit them to social bookmarking sites. I have a auto submission tool as far as wordpress is concerned and I do manually with my website. Once I submitted to these book marking sites I wait for the post to be indexed  by search engines. There are few sites that are more important than some others. I found clipmarks.com useful. It is indexed very faster by Google these days. My page first appears online via clipmarks.com only. I follow by submitting to Digg.com and I stumble it. When talking about digg and stumble if a group of 10 or 20 combine together and digg, stumble then we will have big difference. I am waiting for some trusted friends to join me.

Once the social bookmarking is done our link building begins. I usually attach the link in signature links of the forums. I make posts in quite a few forums. More related the forum to your topic it is help ful. I also follow the effort by blog commenting.

Along with forums and blogs I do classified submission. There are classified sites like usfreeads.com that is viewed very favorably by Google. These sites will help you in search placements.

Article submission and Press release submissions I do but only to a small extent. There are many more ways to improve traffic and I will update it next time.
